The Predat Bear (Predat Tolero) is also known as Predator Bear. It is the future subspecies of Grizzly Bear which live in North America approximately 22,500 years later in the future. This future animal is similar to Grizzly Bear however, it is a different species. This species have new type of behaviours and structural adaptations in order to survive in the Earth of the future world.

Habitat: The world 22 thousand years later will be quite different from the world today. Many species will become extinct and so will the Grizzly Bear, however some species will be evolving at the same time. Unfortunately, human are still around in the future. However, the numbers of human haven’t increased much. The Predat Bear is the second most fearful predators on the planet after human. Predat Bear can be found in mostly around woodlands and mountain area. Since the Predat Bear is larger, it also occupies a larger home range, ranging from 200 – 2000 square kilometers. The ranges of this species can vary depending on the quality and quantity of foods supply that is available.
Unlike Grizzly bear that has a wide range across the world, this type of species only locate in North America giving them the smallest ranges compared to other species in its family in its family. There are approximately 45,500 Predat Bears living in the world of future. However, the population of this species is decreasing rapidly. Since they are one big threat to human’s life. It is estimated that the Predat Bears are going to be extinct in a coupon of year’s time in the future world.
Like Grizzly Bears today, the Predat Bear in the future are able to adapt to all kinds of climates from high ground Mountains to forested area. Their preferred habitats are lands around the coast line. Compared to the Cave Bear, this type of species is the biggest land carnivorous of North America. Predat Bear diet consists of not only small mammals (goose) but also the big ones including lions, tigers, Gorilla and human. These give them a wide range of selection in order to survive in the extreme world in future.
Structural Adaptations 1):
Compared to Grizzly bear, this species has even sharper claws. It claws can grown up to 7 inches long. Which two inches more than the Grizzly Bear. The claws are slightly brown and are mainly used to dig for preys underground like the Grizzly. Each Predat Bear has a pair of claws linked to front palms. The Adaptation helps them not only for protecting themself from other predators but also a better chance of hunting their prey.
Environmental pressure to this adaptation:
Since their preys are larger and powerful than the ones today. The Predat Bear must have even sharper claws than the Grizzly in order to hunt their preys. This structural adaptation will also increase their chance of surviving against other predators.
Structural Adaptations 2):
One noticeable structural Adaptation that the Predat Bear has made that is not found in Grizzly Bear is its hind Legs. Compared to the Grizzly Bear, this species has a pair of distinctive muscular hind legs. The hind leg is made out of fat and muscle. This Adaptation allows this Species to stand like a human and walk for over 60m.
Environmental pressure to this adaptation:
Since the animal of the future is much larger, in order to compete against other predators, this species must have the strength to stand against them. By having a pair distinctive muscular hind leg, they could run from danger more easily and effectively.
Behavioural Adaptation 1):
Due to global warming in the 21century, the general sea level has raised. In order to survive Bears must be capable of searching of food supply in aquatic environment. Unlike The previous Grizzly Bear species, the Predat Bears are capable to scout for preys in aquatic environment such as shallow river streams and creek similar to Polar Bear, where the goose are easy found. Predat Bears that are capable of hunting for food in aquatic environmental condition are mostly likely to be over the age of 5 as they are fully grown and developed in that stage.
Environmental pressure to this adaptation:
By hunting prey in the aquatic environment, this species will have wider ranges of food choices. This will also means that this adaptation increase the chance of survival though the harsh environmental condition in the future.
Behavioural Adaptation 2):
Since there are going to be a lot more predator’s type animal like the predator tigers in the future, the Predat Bear will become even most aggressive then the Grizzly Bear. Unlike the previous Grizzly Bear species, in order to survive, this species must be highly alert to all kinds of dangers.
Environmental pressure to this adaptation:
Predat Bear habitats in North America, where will also be habitat for other carnivorous animals. Predat Bear may need to become more aggressive at all time. This behavioural Adaptation can increase the succussing rate of either hunting for prey or escape while being hunt.
Physiological Adaptation:
Predat Bear has a more developed lung than any other bear type species of the past. This well developed organ improved the ability of this species under aquatic environment. Bigger lung let this species capable of travelling a greater distance under water. This will increase the chance of hunting food under aquatic environment.
Environmental pressure to this adaptation:
Since the lung is stronger in predate Bear, they are also able to run for longer period of time. A possible environmental pressure that causes this adaptation would be that Predat Bear will be searching for food more often. In order to capture their prey more effectively either above or under aquatic environment they would need to having a more developed lung than the Grizzly Bear.
